One hundred years ago, there was nothing here, just waves, the sea. Water, wind, the sky, the birds passing by. There was nothing, not yet.

New land was made, a new city born. What did you see back then, what were your expectations for the future? What do you see now, not yet a hundred years later, and how do you see the future?

 

A composition and VR presentation about the birth of a city, a place created at such a pace people who witnessed the very start are still alive today. Using testimonies of inhabitants of Almere, from long ago and from the hear and now, old and young, with memories of the past and visions of the future.
